History
For almost a decade, I served as Director of Integrative Medicine and Acupuncturist at the Jewish Home for the Aged in San Francisco. I provided care for long term residents, patients in the End-Of Life Program, served in the acute rehabilitation department for patients with post surgical medical needs for issues such as joint replacements, strokes, heart, lung, kidney, gastrointestinal disease; and worked in the Geropsychiatric Hospital Program. My patients, with their chronic illnesses, pains, emotional and psychological issues, have taught me about the many personalties of sickness, suffering, acceptance and healing. They have shown me that an individual is not defined by his or her illness but rather than by the quality of their life. Since 1996, I have had an affiliation with American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM), formerly as Clinic Dean and currently as Professor. I now bring my private acupuncture practice to the ACTCM Clinic.

My strength in patient care is my ability to deepen my patients' relationship with themselves so they can heal what can be healed as they actively co-create their destiny. Acupuncture is a unique healing modality as it provides individuals with the energetic impetus to move through obstructions, gain strength and bolster immunity, so that well being and inner peace can be attained.
