Dr. Katina Murray is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides primary care services in the downtown LA office. She received her B.A. in psychology from Princeton University and later obtained her Doctorate of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and has worked in primary care since 2011. She served as owner and CEO of her Alexandria, VA based healthcare consulting firm, providing physician services to military families at Andrews Air Force Base before returning to Atlanta to join Emory Healthcare where she served as Lead Physician for her clinic site. Dr Murray sees patients of all ages. She practices evidence-based medicine and strongly believes in partnering with her patients to help achieve their personal healthcare goals. She is passionate about providing quality to care to a diverse population of patients and addressing disparities in access to healthcare for underserved communities. She has particular interest in preventive medicine, women’s health and family planning, adolescent health and wellness, effective management of chronic diseases (such as hypertension and diabetes).In her free time, she spends time with her husband, daughter, extended family and friends. She enjoys running, cooking, the arts, and travel. She could not be more excited to plant roots in Los Angeles and join the UCLA Health team.
