NALCO ARES RACES is a non-profit organization based in Berkeley, CA, dedicated to providing civil emergency communication services to the cities of Albany and Berkeley, as well as the University of California, Berkeley and Alta Bates Hospital. They welcome licensed amateur radio operators to join them in their mission. With monthly meetings held on the first Thursday of each month, NALCO ARES RACES convenes at the Berkeley Fire Department Division of Training Alternate Emergency Operations Center.
