History
The K Street Annex was opened in December 2011 on a dream and a shoe-string budget! Susan has owned a resale clothing store (The Clothing Dock) for 12 years. Over the years she got a lot of feedback from the community about the need for a place similar to The Clothing Dock where people could buy, sell, and trade furniture and housewares. When the retail space next door to The Clothing Dock became available Susan decided to make her dream a reality. Her son, Joey, did all the construction and remodeling. She asked her sisters and other family members to donate things they no longer used, needed, or wanted. And she asked her daughter, Alex, to come on full time and run the store. Every penny earned was put back out into the community to buy new items for the store. Little by little, the business grew. The feedback and support from the community was astounding and inspired us to continue working hard to meet the quality and standards desired by our customers.
