Organized in 1954 Under the pastoral Ministry and Leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Ross D. Garrison Sr. & Elder Verdie L. Garrison (Good Samaritan Baptist Church of Oakland until August 15, 1982. Their Son, Apostle Dr. RD Garrison Jr succeeded them in ministry, and has served as Sr. Pastor currently now for the past 34 Years. After (52) years the name of the ministry was changed to Judah The Gathering Place in 2006.
