Misha Michael Horowitz, MD, PhD is a board-certified radiologist and assistant professor of radiology at UC San Diego Health. With expertise in diagnostic radiology, he specializes in interpreting chest radiographs, chest CT scans, and cardiac MRI exams. Dr. Horowitz also assists in the staging of thoracic cancers and performs fluoroscopic examinations of diaphragm muscular function. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of pulmonologists, cardiologists, and cardiothoracic surgeons.
Dr. Horowitz completed his medical degree at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and his residency and fellowship at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Board of Radiology and the Radiologic Society of North America. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Horowitz enjoys teaching and working with residents, and his personal interests include ultimate Frisbee, travel, music, and good food.
