Before starting this independent freelance business, Jamie Rector has been a staff photographer for various newspapers throughout the country building her skills in the craft in a variety of assignments. Professional photography began in 1996. Prior to that, it was photography school and a degree in photography. Since the freelance years began, Jamie has worked for international and domestic clients to include The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, International Herald Tribune, as well as agencies such as Bloomberg, Getty, and many other publications and agencies. Corporate clients include GM, Pacificare, International Marriott, Pepsi, as well as many others and non-profit organizations as well. This is a diversified company that not only offers tutoring, classes and workshops for beginners looking to learn their cameras (point & shoot, DSLR, film or digital, as well as other cameras) to intermediate shooters interested in learning more about the intricacies of the craft (exposure; aperture, shutter, ISO, composition, color, B&W, various lighting techniques, workflow, photoshop, business, etc.) There is also a wide range of photographic services available. From private commissions including family or individual portraiture, maternity, boudoir, kids, seniors, births and events such as weddings, birthdays, reunions, baptisms, and any other events. There is also editorial, commercial and corporate photography services available including portraits, events, annual reports, media handout services, books, brochures, etc. Television and film stills are a part of our offerings as well.
