Jamie Goodman is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is a California State licensed acupuncturist. She has a B.S. with honors from U.C. Berkeley (1985), and an M.S. (1998) from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences. Ms. Goodman studied closely with Dr. Angela Wu, completing an intensive three year apprenticeship with a strong focus on immune enhancement, women's health and infertility, and received a certificate from Dr. Wu in fertility enhancement. She studied Chi Nei Tsang with Mantak Chia, Gilles Marin and Angela Wu and is a certified and experienced practitioner. Ms. Goodman studied with Dr. Raven Lang in treating pregnant, laboring and post-partum women. She studied pediatrics with Dr. Lang and enjoys working with children. In her twenties, Ms. Goodman experienced severe, disabling, chronic low back and neck pain. Her personal experience recovering from chronic pain and disc injury has informed her work with pain immeasurably.
