History
Izumiya originally opened 30 years ago. It introduced Okonomiyaki to San Francisco Bay Area for the first time. Since then, Izumiya has been known for its Okonomiyaki and Modern Yaki (Okonomiyaki combined with Yakisoba noodle). The new owner took over Izumiya in mid 2019. The formula of cooking Okonomiyaki has been inherited and carried on.
