When Patty and Frank Rodriguez opened Inka Trails, Peruvian cuisine was quite unknown to the community of Claremont. Ten years later, Inka Trails has become one of the area's favorite dining destinations. The cuisine of Inka Trails reflects the diverse culture of Peru. It is influenced by the native Inkan cultures and the mix of Japanese and Spanish cultures. It has ingredients from the mountains as well as bounty from the Pacific Ocean. The menu offers fresh seafood dishes and popular Peruvian specialties such as Lomo Saltado and Picante de Mariscos. Make sure to order one of its ceviche, a citrus spicy mixture where the acid of the citrus cooks the raw fish. It also has a wonderful catering trailer that it can bring to any event.
