HistoryI created Candid Pet Portraits after the loss of my basset hound Hannah. She was an amazing dog and an even better friend. She was with me for 15 years and the one thing I wished I had done was to have taken more images of her and who she was. I began using my photography skills to document the sunset of Hannah's life. In doing so I perfected an artistic style of photography that blends portraits and photojournalism in a way that defines the character and personality that make your pet unique.SpecialtiesCandid Pet Portraits specializes in creating contemporary images that capture the day to day life of your pet. The silly head tilt, that special glint in their eye when they play with a beloved toy, or the sheer joy on their face when running to greet you are preserved in images you will always cherish. Photo shoots are done on location, not in a studio. Whether it is in your home, at the park, a favorite spot on the beach or around town it is important that the location be a place that your pet can fully be themselves. It makes for a much more dynamic and personal image than a posed portrait.
