In addition to early exposure to academics, Hoover focuses on child development as well. Self-esteem boosts and positive self imaging are important aspects of the Hoover education. Traits like creativity and imagination are encouraged as well. In a warm, comfortable environment, children can engage with their peers and adults to build crucial social skills.
Activities like dramatic play, music, movement, art, and fine and gross motor activities all stimulate these skills. They also become more independent and develop a sense of self. Most staff members are trained in Early Childhood Education, many with Baccalaureate Degrees.
In addition to celebrating traditional American holidays, special activities and events are planned throughout the year.
