The Herrick Library is a state-of-the-art hybrid library ( offering both digital and physical access ), designed to provide health information through books, journals, newsletters, pamphlets, videotapes, DVDs, models, charts, electronic media, website directories, and online computer databases. The staff is trained to help users find materials to satisfy their health information needs. For those who want to find basic health information online and are confused where to start, click on MedlinePlus, then type your health term in the box at the top of the screen and click Search MedlinePlus. The Herrick Library is a public library and offers many free services. Library cards are issued with appropriate ID to community residents as well as those who work, go to school, or have health-related ties to the Grossmont Healthcare District.
