There are three Vail-owned resorts in Northern California and people really like to complain about them.

Tram descending to the same parking lot as the CA lodge. Close enough.

The lodge could use a refresh. Food is mediocre and overpriced. Restrooms are not kept clean. My recommendation is to stay out of the lodge and stick to the slopes.
