History
Dr. Verby's experience in dealing with ADHD in his own family and his patients motivated him to establish the Behavioral Medical Clinic in San Mateo, California. He wanted to create a Clinic with a caring atmosphere where ADD/ADHD patients could turn to for the best comprehensive diagnosis and latest (medical and non-medical) innovations in treating the disorder. Dr. Verby's practice prescribes a comprehensive treatment plan individualized for each patient that includes nutrition and dietary supplements, exercise, educational accommodations, psychological counseling, ADHD coaching, occupational therapy, medications, and other treatment modalities.

Dr. Verby is a nationally recognized expert in medication management for ADD/ADHD patients. He provides a comprehensive clinical evaluation that includes a review of educational history, medical history, social interactions, along with a wide-ranging battery of standard diagnostic tests for ADHD, mood disorders and learning disabilities. He conducts an extensive face-to-face evaluation of the patient, but also seeks input from family, significant others, friends and teachers/co-workers for a complete view of the patient's condition. Established in June of 2000 in San Mateo, California the Behavioral Medical Clinic diagnoses and treats a wide spectrum of behavioral medical problems, including but not limited to Attention Deficit Disorder and its associated medical conditions in children, adolescents, and adults. Such associated conditions may be manifested by anxieties or phobias, depression, bipolar mood disorder, oppositional conduct disorder, pervasive eating disorders, developmental disorders, Asperger's Syndrome and Tourette's Syndrome.
