Gwen Callan is a professional member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). A Certified Interior Designer of California (by CCIDC), Gwen holds art and art history degrees from Michigan State University, with additional Master's credits from UCLA. She has traveled extensively and has been practicing interior design her entire career. She was a co-founder and partner of an interior design firm in Alamo, before beginning her own studio in Danville. Undertaking a broad range of projects, all of which are grounded in smart design and mindful of comfortable living, Gwen's diverse body of work includes upscale private residences and commercial design of varying styles throughout California. Her design work includes new construction to remodel to redecorating. Gwen is leaving her stamp on Napa Valley interiors. Her interior design practice is the culmination of education and interests in art, architecture, textiles, and art history.

Whether ground-up architectural design/build, total renovation, or re-imagined redecoration, she will guide you through every stage of your project. A r c h i t e c t u r e + C o n s t r u c t i o n P r o c e s s : Gwen's unique expertise is reading and interpreting plans, scaled drafting, and conceptual drawings. She specializes in specifying plumbing, lighting fixtures and plans, flooring, cabinet detailing, wall finishes and interior moldings. She thrives working with architects, home owners, landscape designers, and builders. L i g h t i n g E x p e r t i s e : Gwen has studied with renowned lighting designers and believes in utilizing a mixture of lighting sources to add depth, texture, and utility to every area. S p a t i a l C o n c e p t s : Before envisioning how your inspired rooms will look and feel, she will plan the space with you. She will draw efficient, well-balanced floor plans that maximize available space, fulfill form and function, and complement your unique lifestyle. Already working with an architect?
