History
Gil Tepper M.D., F.A.C.S. is the Director of Valley Spine Center in Sherman Oaks and The Spine Institute at Miracle Mile Medical Center located in Los Angeles. Dr. Tepper was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society in 1985 and graduated with honors from the Chicago Medical School in 1986. He began his orthopaedic training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where he completed internship in General Surgery in 1987 and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery from 1987-1991. Dr. Tepper is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. In 1992, he completed a fellowship in lumbar spine surgery at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center under the supervision of the world-renowned spine surgeon Leon Wiltse. He subsequently completed a cervical spine surgery fellowship at UC Irvine/ Long Beach VA Medical Center. Dr. Tepper is certified by the American Board.
