Built in 1989, Terrace Gardens is a congregate care and assisted living community that serves low-income seniors who qualify for Section 8. There are about 150 units, and 15 for seniors with disabilities. Seniors 62 and up live in apartment-style units with meal plans. Several activities are planned each week, including bingo on Tuesday afternoons. A hair stylist comes on Thursdays and Fridays. The board of directors meets every other month. Shopping centers Town Center and Beresford Square are located with walking distance. This facility is managed by the John Stewart Company.
