SpecialtiesThe eye doctor in our facility is Dr. Yen Vu, who possesses high qualifications and well-skilled in many aspects of optometry such as treatment and management of ocular diseases, amblyopia (lazy eyes) treatment, contact lens fitting, dry eye treatment, and LASIK co-management to name a few. A little bit about her background: Dr. Vu received her Bachelor of Science at the University of California, Irvine. She went on to receive their Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry in 2001, giving her 15 years of clinical experiences. She is able to speak Spanish and Vietnamese and enjoys working with children and the elderly. Dr. Vu did her clinical rotation at an Indian Health Reservation in AZ. Diabetic retinopathy, red eye treatment, cataracts evaluation and co-management, and foreign body removal were all part of her training there. Over the years, she gained much experience in fitting contact lens, whether gas-permeable (hard) lenses or soft lenses, and enjoys doing so.
