History
Created as a retreat center for programs of the Guild for Psychological Studies by founders Elizabeth Boyden Howes, Sheila Moon and Luella Sibbald, Four Springs has been a home to retreats and seminars for over fifty years. In 1996 Four Springs began to welcome other organizations and personal retreat guests including yoga and meditation groups, congregations, family events and many more.
Specialties
An inspirational setting for seminars, gatherings and personal retreats. A rich tradition of inner work is reflected in serenity, simplicity and harmony with nature. We are open year-round to groups who desire a quiet and inspirational setting for their work. Our beautiful new lodge, comfortable cabins, art and meditation buildings, library and seminar room, together with pool, grape arbor, meadows and trails create a sanctuary in nature, removed from daily distractions. Four Springs is just north of Calistoga and the Napa Valley near Middletown, CA. We are 35 miles from Santa Rosa, 85 miles from San Francisco and 100 miles from Sacramento. Four Springs is beautiful, intentionally small in scale and close to nature. Our cabins provide single and double occupancy housing for up to 30 guests, and with camping we can host up to 50. It is quiet at the end of our road! If you are here with a group, or for a time of personal retreat, you will share the place with few others. Reservation
