Act One is a Christian performing arts school that has a unique approach. Act One offers programs designed to help Christians of all denominations obtain jobs in Hollywood but there is a lot more. The programs are specialized to suit the individual and put an emphasis on spiritual as well as career development. The most popular programs include the Producers Program which focuses on executive producing, management, agent work and pretty much everything else on the business side of the entertainment industry. The Writing Program focuses on screen writing, teleplay writing, dialogue, structure and character development. Act One also offers workshops, industry seminars, events and several annual writing competitions. Alumni of Act One have worked on projects that include The Blind Side, The Fantastic Four, X-Men and CSI.
