My name is Derek. I'm the baker and creative mind behind Focaccia Boi, a home bakery in Anaheim, CA, offering fresh baked focaccia to Orange County and surrounding areas. I started Focaccia Boi in 2019 as a venture into baking after years of research and experimentation in the world of gluten that I love so much. Focaccia Boi operates as a small team consisting of myself, my supportive gluten-free wife and business manager, and our brilliant graphic designer. Alongside the growing list of supportive friends. My passion for good food and community is what propels me to continue learning and growing with my ultimate fully-baked goal in mind of opening a brick and mortar establishment where I can encompass not only bread, but coffee, cheese, wine, beer, and cider. It feels incredible to finally share something I've crafted with my own hands. Thanks to you all for your continued support through this wonderful gluten adventure.
