Faith Presbyterian Church of Valley Village began as a gathering of the faithful under the trees of a school yard on Moorpark Street in 1940. The current location was purchased in 1947. It provides worship and Bible study on Sunday, as well as Sunday school and Support Valley Interfaith Food Pantry.
The church campus is now home to a multipurpose and nutrition center for senior citizens (East Valley Multipurpose Senior Center) managed by the Valley Interfaith Council (VIC), a preschool run by Headstart, and the meeting place for a variety of religious fellowships, self-help groups and 12-step programs. The Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Fellowship also holds worship services on the campus of Faith Pres.
