Our firm was founded in 1957 by Victor M. Epport. Since the firm's inception, the firm has established a strong reputation based on our long-running, successful representation of financial institutions and other commercial enterprises. During the past decade, Epport, Richman & Robbins, LLP, has expanded into a dynamic, successful practice representing clients in a broad spectrum of industries with wide ranging needs. Because Epport, Richman & Robbins, LLP's primary areas of practice involve representing clients that have sophisticated business issues, there are no departments or sections within the firm. It is our experience that most client matters involve aspects of multiple fields ; and skills such as negotiation, oral advocacy, preparedness, and organization are requirements for both litigators and transactional attorneys alike. Except for atypical matters requiring specific specialization, we find it most efficient for our clients if the same attorney has the expertise to handle all aspects of a given matter for the client. It is the philosophy at Epport, Richman & Robbins, LLP that one becomes a more valuable practitioner by being able to handle commercial law related issues in both a litigation and transactional setting. Therefore, although each attorney may develop a certain niche or specialty, all attorneys at Epport, Richman & Robbins, LLP are experienced litigators in both state and federal court and handle transactional matters as well. Epport, Richman & Robbins, LLP is located in Los Angeles, California in Century City. Presently we have six partners, one of-counsel attorney and nine associate attorneys. We also routinely employ law clerks, paralegals and legal assistants on an as needed basis. Attorneys at Epport, Richman & Robbins, LLP regularly appear in all state and federal courts throughout California, primarily in Southern California including Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Diego, San Bernardino, Riverside and Santa Barbara counties, but also in Northern California when necessary. We are involved in transactional matters throughout the country, as well. By creating a positive and non-competitive work environment and compensating people according to the value of their contributions to the firm, we have been able to attract and maintain high quality professionals at the firm. In each of the past nine years, we have hired one or two summer associates. Each summer associate who has been offered a full time associate position with our firm has accepted the offer and nearly all continue to practice with the firm today. This consistency of our professional and administrative staff has allowed our firm to operate in a friendly as well as highly efficient manner.
