Environment Now is a private nonprofit foundation created in Southern California by Frank and Luanne Wells in 1989. Their mission is to be an active leader in effective programs to restore a clean California environment. Environment Now focuses on water and other issues near and dear to the hearts of all Californians. Environment Now's charter calls for preserving and restoring coastal, freshwater and forest ecosystems, along with improving air quality and urban sustainability.
