Founded in 1891 and located in the unincorporated area of Wildomar, Elsinore High School is the oldest high school in the Lake Elsinore Unified School District and one of the oldest high schools in Riverside County.
For the 2008-2009 school year, Elsinore High School had a student enrollment of 2,202. The faculty at Elsinore High School includes 88 teachers and another 16 administrative, counseling and staff personnel.
Elsinore High School is a California Distinguished School, an AVID National Demonstration School and a Riverside County Office of Education Model of Excellence for its special education program.
