Frank & Karen Machado After owning the Berry Farm , Pizza farm , Red Robbin inn & Machado's Bar & Grill In the 60's 70's & 80's in the Bay Area City of Santa Clara sold out to move & kick back in on small ranch in Stevinson Ca. near Frank's home town Hilmar , Frank missing the comradery of not being around people got restless & very bored , A friend realater showed Frank & Karen this old closed restaurant shack in the little town of Delhi . Frank considering to it buy for a breakfast cafe only , Karen with more decoretive ambitions said she thoght it would be better as fine bay area style fine dining .. Boy did we get laugh' at .. We openend on dec. 31 1989 from that day for about 3 years you only could get in with reservations , It was very popular with the officers of Castle Air Force base in Atwater , In 1992 The air base closed & the population dwindled , From then until now 22 years later . Most week ends you still at times get turned away without resevations ...
