History
Prior to starting his own design consulting practice in 1992, Ellis A. Schoichet AIA worked as a Design Architect with architectural firms in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area. From 1996 to 1998 Ellis acted as Director of Green Building Services for GTEK, a San Francisco based consulting firm specializing in improving the environmental and financial performance of buildings. Ellis worked closely with Principal and U.S. Green Building Council co-founder David A. Gottfried, providing a broad spectrum of consulting services including planning for sustainability in large projects and detailed recommendations for reducing the environmental impact of the built environment.
