Opened in 1965, Dearborn Elementary School is a Title 1 school that serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally provides instruction in theater, dance, visual arts and music. Dearborn Elementary School offers the School for Advanced Studies program, which receives funding from the Los Angeles Unified School District.
