Christopher J. Friend, MD is a board-certified interventional radiologist and associate professor of radiology at UC San Diego School of Medicine. With expertise in image-guided, minimally invasive surgeries, he specializes in treating cancer and benign disorders, as well as musculoskeletal tumors and vertebral augmentation. Dr. Friend also offers prostate artery embolization for benign prostatic hyperplasia.
