The Culver City Fire Department provides fire, rescue and emergency services to residents and businesses in Culver City, Calif. Its services include fire prevention, fire suppression, emergency medical services, public education/training services and hazardous materials disposal. The Culver City Fire Department is an ISO Class 1 rated department. It is one of approximately 17 fire departments in the United States to have a Class 1 rating. Additionally, in 1998 the department became the first agency to be accredited in the state of California and the 10th in the United States. The department has an administration office and three stations in Culver City. Culver City has a population of more than 38,000 residents and is located in western Los Angeles County in California.
