History
Opened doors to the Santa Cruz CrossFit community in November 2013. Our goal is to provide an environment that stresses safety of each member by striving for mastery of movement before progressing intensity. We screen every client for flexibility and range of motion deficiencies and create programming that addresses those inconsistencies with mobility training built in to the workout of the day.
Specialties
Our programming is developed and tested by movement experts and physical therapists with your safety and long-term success in mind. We offer a progressive 8-session Fundamentals program included with your monthly membership that exposes new members to a vast array of movements as well as mobility and flexibility training. Also included in your membership is a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) to screen your body for any imbalances and limitations in your range of motion so that we can address any issues you might have and limit any risk of injury in the future. Once you've completed your Fundamentals classes, you'll be ready to integrate into our regularly scheduled daily workouts with an emphasis on mechanics first, consistency second and intensity third.
