Courthouse Square is the open plaza in the heart of downtown Redwood City. Flanked by the San Mateo County History Museum, the Century 20 Theatres, the historic Fox Theatre and numerous restaurants and businesses, Courthouse Square is bustling with activity and energy every day.
The redesign was completed in 2006 as part of the city's redevelopment funds. City councilmembers have called Courthouse Square "the outdoor living room of Redwood City."
Annual events like the Hometown Holidays, the Pet Parade as well as the summer Movie Series and Concerts on the Square take place here.
