Consumers Liquor is located on the corner of Sunset Boulevard and North Detroit Street in Hollywood. This store has been in business for more than 60 years and boasts a wide selection of wine, beer and liquor choices, in addition to juices and sodas. The owners and staff are very friendly and they make shopping there a pleasure. Two loading zone spots are located in front of the store on Sunset and a large parking lot is available for customers behind the store.
During the late fifties and early sixties, Joe Dimaggio and Frank Sinatra were regular customers at Consumers Liquor. A few decades later, Guns N Roses were known to buy their favorite "Night Train" drink here, for which they later wrote a song that appeared on their "Appetite for Destruction" album.
