Since the Concern Foundation got its start in 1968, it has raised more than $50 million to support and promote cancer research and care. The foundation is known for its strong stewardship and the fact that 95 cents out of every dollar collected is put directly to the cause of sustaining progress in the prevention and treatment of cancer. A primarily volunteer organization with 10,000 members, the group has enlisted as many as four generations of families to sustain the mission of finding a cure.
