Located in North Hollywood, Calif., and founded in 1951, Colfax Avenue Elementary School is affiliated to the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school offers a variety of academic and cocurricular programs to more than 500 students in grades kindergarten through five. It enrolls students from diverse ethnic, social and economic groups, and its cafeteria offers a variety of food items for breakfast and lunch.
