South of City Hall, Civic Center Park is full of Lemon Grove's history. There is a miniature lemon grove next to the H. Lee House. This is a 1928 Tudor revival house designed by architect Frederick Clemeshaw of San Diego.
Historic Canary Island palms decorate the grassy area. There is a custom fountain and the park is home to the 1897 Parsonage Museum. With ample seating and walking space, the beautiful park is a city highlight.
