Pomona City Hall houses many of the governmental bodies and departments of the city of Pomona, Calif. The city council, city manager, business development division, city attorney, city clerk and finance all have ties to the city hall. City council is comprised of a mayor and six council members. The mayor is the presiding officer of the city council and is elected at large for a four-year term. Council members are elected for overlapping four-year terms. The Business Development Division was created in support of the city council's expressed desire to bring new energy to the city's business development and redevelopment functions.
