The Sierra Madre Youth Activity Center was created in 1998 on the eastern edge of town. Youth ages 11-17 come to the center throughout the year for arts and crafts, swimming, sports, academic assistance and counseling. The large building sits on a grass lot that includes a baseball diamond, a large lap pool and a field for football and soccer. There's also a swing set and a gymnasium.
