History
Although founded recently Chico Magic is really an offspring of Becky's first two stores Ebbets Field, which was located in downtown Chico during the mid 80's and Sports Play which was located in the Chico Mall for 15 years. The owner Becky Strong has had many interests over the last three decades but one thing has remained constant;she loves to collect and enjoys playing card games. Magic the Gathering fills both those needs thus Chico Magic was born.

Chico Magic specializes in Magic the Gathering and Yugioh. We strive to be one stop shopping for your gaming needs. Customer service is #1 and we gladly will do special orders. Thousands of MTG singles available (from super rare to common) as well as a great selection of older vintage cards. Dozens of pre built decks, and booster bxs to choose from as well as a huge gaming supply section competitive to intetnet prices. Tournaments most days in our large, comfotable, well lit gaming area. Wednesday is open casual play and new players are always welcome on anyday. On Tues. & Thurs. we have MAGIC & Yugioh tournaments. FNM is usually Draft and starts at 6pm. We also carry some collectible gifts as well, fantasy dragons and fairies, Disney, film/tv mem. The owner Becky Strong has been selling and trading Magic the Gathering since 1993. Chico Magic has a Gold Premiere/Advanced Plus store rating with Wizards of the Coast. All tournaments are DCI sanctioned and generous prizes are awarded to the winners.
