Specialties
All styles are welcome, including Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, and Musical Theater. Voice lessons begin with a vocal warm up and technique work before moving into repertoire. Chelsea is a classically trained opera singer who started out singing classic rock and jazz, so students can come from a variety of singing styles. The most important thing is that lessons focus on how to sing in a healthy and sustainable way without losing any of their own stylistic flair. Chelsea's teaching is highly influenced by The Alexander Technique of Alignment, traditional Bel Canto practices, Speech Level Singing, as well as the combination of several styles developed from her own study of the voice.
