History
I was ordained as a Minister in the Universal Church of The Master in 1988, following three years of study and preparation. Since my ordination, my work as a Ceremonialist has grown and evolved...just as I have! I understand, ever more deeply, the profound need that humans have to find meaningful ways to honor the, often mysterious, forces at play within their lives. The power of Love, the sacredness and promise of new life, the importance of honoring Beginnings...and Endings...I value, more than ever, the sense of belonging that participation in meaningful Ceremony can provide and nurture within people. I have led on going Women's circle's focused on spiritual growth, Mediation and Mindfulness classes, and work with individuals in support of their happiness and awakening. I am deeply grateful to be of service to my community in these ways.
Specialties
As an Ordained Ceremonialist of over 30 years, I guide people with care and creative skill as they (publicly or privately) acknowledge and honor one of Life's significant thresholds or transitions : Weddings, Births, Memorials, Divorce, Home Blessings, etc. In a supportive, creative, and relaxed space, I facilitate the co-creation of Ceremonies that reflect the spirit of the individuals, and the personal significance of the Transition they are honoring. By asking questions and listening deeply, I encourage exploration that easily allows an authentic expression of each person's values, ideas, and needs. As the Officiant; within every Ceremony, I tap into the depth and experience of my decades as a Ministerial Priest; invoking, and holding space for the highest good and deepest blessings to unfold; alive with personal meaning, open hearts, and clear intentions. An occasion inspiring for all~ AS A COUNSELOR: As an ordained Multi Faith Minister, and Elder, I am honored to provide grounded, wise, Spirit based counsel to those feeling the need in their life for a mentor or guide. In my work I draw on the teachings of Non- Violent Communication, the Enneagram, Buddhist Loving kindness practice, and the compassionate, transformative power of Awareness; of Body, Mind, and Emotions. I find personal inspiration through my connection to Nature and my sense of belonging within family and community.
