History
The Fremont Senior Center, part of the City of Fremont Human Services Department, was established 32 years ago to provide a welcoming place for seniors in the community to gather and learn, eat a good nutritious meal, avail themselves of free health services, and enjoy life. Through the years we've expanded to include people of all ages in our programs, as well as our excellent meals, local and international trips and educational classes. We have recently begun serving a hot, cooked to order breakfast also on Monday and Wednesday mornings for $3 or 3.50 for non-members. Check out our activities on the city website, www.fremont.gov and join us for one of our 60+ classes and services including: Tai Chi, Zumba, Creative Writing, Needlecrafts, Internet Class, Health Insurance Counseling, Dance with a live band, Health Services, Legal Assistance and much more.
