History
After being frustrated with San Diego's lack of authentic Midwest style corned beef/pastrami sandwiches, the owner, with his hungry Detroit roots, decided it was high time to share the pleasure of diving into overstuffed, Midwest style sandwiches but with a bit of a fresh Californian twist. While many local delicatessens claim to have great roast beef, pastrami, or corned beef sandwiches, few deliver it in a way that many Midwest/East Coasters are used to; the huge, overstuffed kind which two people can happily share. Combining that with the other newly added California-style menu items like monstrous breakfast burritos, gourmet salads with scratch-made dressing and loaded French fries; that's how Cameron's Carnivore Sandwich was born. Now under new ownership circa February 2021, Detroit-meets-California husband and wife duo are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of scratch-made food quality and great service
