Camp Tamarancho offers lots of single-track trails for mountain biking and hiking. The scenery for the loop is quite varied: there are dense trees, mountain streams, open spaces and huge boulders. Family passes are available for $40, while individual passes are $25 and a 1-day pass is just $5. Keep in mind that the cliff-side road that leads to Camp Tamarancho can be tricky to navigate. It is rocky, twisting and unpaved -- make sure you have a sturdy vehicle that is capable of making the trip.
