The Cambodian Association of America (CAA) is the oldest and largest Cambodian organization in the United States, established in 1975. CAA has played a crucial role in assisting Cambodian refugees in Southern California, promoting small businesses, and preserving Cambodian culture while helping refugees acculturate to life in America.
With fourteen programs funded by various sources, CAA provides a wide range of services to over 3,000 individuals annually, including translation, transportation, acculturation classes, and support for victims of domestic violence. In addition to serving the Cambodian community, CAA has expanded its services to include non-Asian groups, reaching over 15,000 people per year through their outreach and education programs.
