The Calvary Baptist Church is located in the Valley Plaza shopping center. The Christian Baptist faith is celebrated by Pastor Terry Yoder and his congregation. There are two, a morning and evening service given on Sundays and a weekday service on Wednesday evenings. For children, there are Sunday school classes where the teachings of Jesus Christ are given. The church also offers adult prayer sessions and bible study also on Sunday and Saturday afternoons. Yoder is a former US Marine who was stationed at Camp Pendleton. He focuses on preaching, counseling and discipleship, as well as being responsible for the overall vision of the church.
