Hollywood Paintball is the only retail store of its kind in Hollywood. It carries many brands of paintball and airsoft guns, paintballs and accessories such as chest protectors, masks, goggles, and elbow and knee pads. Paintball is a game that was first played in 1981. Some say it now has more participants in America than baseball. Players compete to eliminate opponents by hitting them with capsules containing paint propelled from a device. The games are played at various different fields. Hollywood Paintball hosts private party paintball games for friends, families and companies, and can accommodate groups of more than 100. Every three weeks, Hollywood Paintball invites customers, friends and strangers to play in a paintball battle event.
