Founded in 1975, the Calabasas High school has an enrollment of more than 2,000 students. It offers classes from grades nine through 12 and is accredited by The Western Association of schools and Colleges. It consists of several departments, including arts, English, foreign language, math, physical education, performing arts and science. The school also offers advanced placement courses and operates various scholarship programs. Its facility also consists of a store that provides book locks, carpool parking passes, clothes and fee cards. Additionally, the school has a tutoring center that offers free mentoring in academic subject areas. The school also participates in various community service programs, such as raising funds for societies, distributing food, helping the less fortunate and preserving of Earth s natural resources. Located in Calabasas, Calif., the school is a part of the Las Virgenes Unified School District that serves more than 12,000 students.
