History
BVA was started by the (at the time) Head Coach of Brea Olinda HS - who has recently retired from HS VB Coaching because she was noticing a trend that players were unable to make any team at the high school level if they don't play club. What about the kids who work hard but are duel sport athletes? Church obligations? Or money issues? She started BVA Clinics to help her Brea Olinda players stay competitive and able to continue playing. Word spread about clinics and by 2010- players from all over North Orange County wanted to start playing and being involved in the BVA Clinics. At the same time - younger players who started in the clinics wanted to explore the opportunity of playing on club teams but didn't want to leave BVA, the BVA staff or the BVA philosophy so in 2011 BVA introduced club teams! Our club teams have competed at high levels and have traveled. We continue growing every year and thats because of our dedication to the sport and to our players & families.
